Hi all,

Can someone please clarify my doubts about web server and application server.What are the situations that force us to choose one between them and what is the basic diff in them..

This question gets asked quite a bit in this, Servlets, and the JSP forum.

Search them with "Webserver" and "Appserver" for keywords and you'll find plenty of explanations.
