IIS front-end with Tomcat back-end

I have a MS IIS web server on NT 4.0 front-end that needs to talk to a Debian Linux Tomcat back-end server. I would like to use the ISAPI connector to access the Tomcat server. Anyone have experience doing this?
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
