Hello all,

I have created a small Servlet program to display name. Followed the directory structure and created the War file and deployed in Tomcat5. I am using Windows XP. I am getting the homepage of Tomcat but it is not recognizing the War file. even the index file is not getting displayed. I checked Servlet program may times and I am able to get the .class file. Is there any server settings I need to do. Plz help me.

With regards,

Ravi P

Hi,
Make sure you have the class files also in the path while creating the war file.
then place the war file under webapps directory.
stop and start tomcat server.
the war file must be recognized and deployed into its respective orginal folder structure automatically when the server is started.

let me know if this helps.
Sai.
