Hi,
i have an intranet application that can be accessed by m/c's in my network as say http://184.165.3.54:8080/PMT/index.html.

now is it possible to configure tomcat so that the other people(in my network) can access my application in a manner such as
http://ProjectManagementTool/index.html

i read the post about localhost but i guess there's more to it as other m/c's need to be aware of the mapping between 184.165.3.54 and ProjectManagementTool. is this possible?

Just fix your network's DNS so that it identifies the computer name ProjectManagementTool with that IP address.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
