i have an intranet application that can be accessed by m/c's in my network as say

now is it possible to configure tomcat so that the other people(in my network) can access my application in a manner such as

i read the post about localhost but i guess there's more to it as other m/c's need to be aware of the mapping between and ProjectManagementTool. is this possible?

Just fix your network's DNS so that it identifies the computer name ProjectManagementTool with that IP address.
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
