I am trying to track down why I am getting a OutOfMemory exception in my tomcat log, so looking back in my logs I find the following a bit before I run out of memory:

Which repeats until [74] and then I get the following message forever until the sever is reset (in this case, for 5 hours)

[CODE]

2006-02-22 03:13:21 HttpConnector[8080] No processor available, rejecting this connection

[CODE]

I looked at the tomcat access logs and my application logs, and there is virtually nothing going on during this period of time. I am totally clueless what caused this continual spawning of threads to occur. Does anyone have any idea what could cause this? Could it be there is some sort of request which is not being written to the access_log?

Thanks in advance

That certainly is mysterious alright.
1. How long has Tomcat been running when this happens?
2. Do you have the Manager app installed? If so can you get it to run when the Thread spawning happens?

I had a mysterious Thread problem which turned out to be a Goggle robot hitting a link that started a process that hung. Looking at the Thread report in the Manager helped figure that one out.
