Hi,
I've the same problem. Whenever I try to define a context, I've got the described LifecycleException. If I don't define any context the server starts up fine, but of course in the end I didn't work either (HTTP Status 500 - No Context configured to process this request).
Yes there is no other Stacktrace or additional message which describes the error more specific.
I tried to find the problem by activating some debugging at the startup, but didn't find any switch to do so. Any suggestions??
Edit:
Here are some background informations which might help.
I try to migrate a
tomcat 4.0.3 project to version 4.1.31. First of all I'd tried to migrate to 5.0.28. but this doesn't work, so I decided to make it step by step.
The Platform is WindowsXP/Windows2k, Java-1.5.05
TIA,
Andreas
