Hi All,

I installed Tomcat 4.1 as a Windows service and it is running fine soon after starting windows. My requirement is, when Tomcat starts and running I want to start any other application (For example a servlet) automcatically along with Tomcat. Is it possible to do?

Thanks & Regards,
Ganesh.

Check out the <load-on-startup> element of the <servlet> declaration in your web.xml. You can use it to run a servlet right after the container has started.

I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
