issue with the tomcat startup

when i am trying http:\\localhost:8080 in my web browser to run my
oracle servlet engine is getting started instead of
what is the problem ?
can anyone suggest if there is any path problem or something else

Typing a URL into your browser will not start up anything, it will merely send a request to whatever server is running.
If you want to use Tomcat instead of oracle, be sure that Tomcat is running and oracle is not.
This is not a servlet issued, so it's been moved to the Tomcat forum.
