Difference between apache tomcat and j2ee application server

Tomcat only supports part of J2EE: the servlet and JSP part. For EJB support, you need a full-blown application server. Note that the actual need for EJBs is far less than their usage -- i.e., you probably don't need EJBs. Most applications don't.

When i try to install jakarta-tomcat-5.0.28.exe file it runs and stops while encountering jvm.dll file after that nothing happens,i don't know to proceed further

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Is the installer looking for the file or attempting to copy it over?
Are you by chance trying to install Tomcat to run as a windows service?

You'd have to upload the image file somewhere, and then use the UBB "IMG" tag (see the buttons below the editing box.)

But don't do a screen shot; copy and paste text if you can.
