We have apache tomcat 5.0.28 installed on iSeries.
The server works fine we could open the home page of apache tomcat on port 8080.
But when deploying a war file it doesn't unpack the file, when we put it in the webapps folder.
The first time it went perfect. It automatically unpack after deploying the war file.
But after that we had to remove it and deploy it again, but it didn't unpack.
What can be the problem and how can we solve it.

Thanks

Did you delete the directory that was created by unpacking the first WAR?
I think that if Tomcat sees an unpacked directory that matches the WAR name, it does no further checking to see if the war changed.
