unable to work with application deployed in server

Hi everybody, Iam working with Tomcat-5.0.5, it got successufully installed on to my machine. I have deployed an application in the server ,but when I try to access my application by typing my url in browser it is just displaying nothing .
hope anyone would solve this out

Do you not think that more info than you have given, particularly how you deployed the app and the URL you are using to access it, would be necessary for anyone to even start helping out?
