hi i am having a problem in accessing Tomcat .
i installed tomcat, started and then tried to access the url
http://localhost:8080/manager/html ,it comes with a OS level dialog box
asking for network username and password for authentication with Realm XDB(Not a clue what it is )

it is a corporte level network .

Any idea for any kind of workaround

Manager is protected using authentication and relam is the way to authenticate the user credential. If you have just installed tomcat , then memory realm is the default , you can check out the file tomcat-users.xml at conf directory to get a set of usernames/passwords.Make usre to use the pair which has manager role.
