I am not able to see the console log. I have put System.out.println statements in my java code. But i am not able to see the logged statements on console. Please let me know how to configure it.

How are you starting Tomcat? If not directly from a console, then the output would go to the file TOMCAT_HOME/logs/catalina.out.
