hi all,
i just want to know if i can run a web-application by keeping my whole web-app directory structure in some other directory instead of keeping it in TOMCAT_HOME.
if yes, can anybody giveme some link or tell me the steps i need to follow.

yes, that's possible. Check out the docBase attribute of the Context configuration.
