When I start up tomcat i get this error message:

log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (org.apache.catalina.startup.Bootstrap).
log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly.

when i try to deploy JSPWiki.war i get this error message:

log4j:ERROR setFile(null,true) call failed.
java.io.FileNotFoundException: \tmp\jspwiki.log (The system cannot find the path specified)

Altough there are errors can still deploy and view other web projects.(but not the JSPWiki.war)

I downloaded logging-log4j-1.2.14.jar, but have no idea where it goes?

It doesn't sound like a Tomcat issue as much as it does a JSPWiki issue.

This indicates that log4j is not able to find log4j.properties or log4j.xml in the classpath.
