Not being able to access Administration

I have
tomcat
running(as a service) I can run the JSP/Servlet examples fine but when I click on the status or Tomcat Manager link in the Administration box i get the following:
HTTP Status 401 -
type Status report
message
description <b>This request requires HTTP authentication ().</b>
Apache Tomcat/6.0.10
What do I do?
