tomcat doesnt start in debug mode

hi,

i am using tomcat server with red hat developer studio version 1. somehow the tomcat server starts in normal mode, but is not starting in debug mode. when i try to start the server in debug mode, it keeps showing server starting status without any success. i don't understand what the reason is for the problem.

if anyone has any idea, please help
