Hi All,

I am using Tomcat 5 to run my web application. Now I am having a problem that even after I stopped my application using Tomcat manager, the application still running.

Any help on this?

Let me see if I understand what you are seeing - you:

1. use the manager to stop the application - other tomcat apps keep running
2. you see the manager result that the application is stopped
3. you create a new client request to the application and it runs

Is that what happens?

Does your application do its own database connections?
Does your servlet have a custom destroy() method?
