Hi All,

Any once clarify regarding difference between server ip address & server's local host.

I am expect the valuable reply.

are you sure the IP is the IP of local host? there should be no difference

sometimes you need to restart tomcat

when you request from 127.0.0.1 or localhost, the container sees the response coming from 127.0.0.1

when you request from 192.168.0.68 or your machine name, the container sees the response coming from 192.168.0.68

If there is any behaviour specific to localhost, this is the only thing I can see that would interfere

not properly as functionality wise.

What exactly happens? Fails to find the server? Fails to find the application? Shows part of a page and stops? Redirects to Javaranch.com?

General "it doesn't work" statements are not very useful.
