Hi,
I have apache running on port 80 and behind that tomcat is there which is running on 4001(solaris os).Apache is configured to pass the request to tomcat. Now the problem is that the apache error logs sometimes shows lots of following error messages.

[Mon Feb 04 15:25:40 2008] [error] (146)Connection refused: proxy: HTTP: attempt to connect to 127.0.0.1:4001 (localhost) failed

Although tomcat is up and running.
Because of this applications start to behave abnormally.
Can anybody please suggest the reason of this issue and how to fix it?

regards,
Ajse
