thread dumps Location

I had created Thread dump for tomcat using "kill -3 pid(java)". But am unaware of the location of the dumped thread.

Please let me know.

I believe they go to stdout which, depening on your install will go to either the console or one of the logs under CATALINA_HOME/logs.
