Hi all
i have installed tomcat 6.0 .but when i try to run the start.bat black screen comes and disappears immediately,same with shutdown.bat.I try to get the home page by typing http://localhost:8080,it says page cannot be displayed.what's the problems here?

Don't double click on startup.bat.
Open a dos window, cd into tomcat\bin and type startup.
The window should stay open long enough for you to see what's going wrong.
Also, look under tomcat\logs to see if any other problems are being reported.
