apache/Tomcat Running in windows

Hello All!

Right now I work with Apache and tomcat running under Linux (slackware 7 I think)

Our Linux guru just quit and our IT guy is a Windows Networking guy and our remaining programmers aren't familiar with Linux. (not enough to do serious administration anyway)

So at the moment we are toying around with the idea of switching tomcat and apache over to windows server 2003 or 2008.

Anyone running Apache and tomcat in a production environment under windows server?

Anyone switch from Linux to windows? or the other way round?

Anyone have experience between windows server 2003 and 2008? Any major differences?

Please let me know what you guys think??

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
