Tomcat 5.0 throws "cannot creat PoolableConnectionFactory"

A version number of my tomcat is 5_0_28. when I execute my tomcat ,the tomat says "cannot creat PoolableConnectionFactory([Microsoft][SQLServer 2000] Driver for jdbcErro estableishing socket.)" . I didn't known why ! I have copy the jdbc driver of sqlserver into command/lib ,but the question still exist.Thank you for you help!
