Running Tomcat on Solaris

Whenever i execute startup.sh , it does'nt show the console messages like it does for windows , Please how can i get to see this start up logs


bash-3.00$ ./startup.sh
Using CATALINA_BASE: /export/home/jubril/tomcat
Using CATALINA_HOME: /export/home/jubril/tomcat
Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: /export/home/jubril/tomcat/temp
Using JRE_HOME: /opt/jdk1.6.0_05

All of this goes to the log files under tomcat/logs.

The easiest way to watch this in real time is to use the tail program with the -f (follow) switch.
