upgrading tomcat on linux

I am currently using tomcat 5.5.25 on redhat linux and want to upgrade to 5.5.26. I was looking for a document on the web or in the manuals but with no luck. Could someone tell the steps, at least at a high level.

Tomcat has no facilities to update an installation in place. Generally there isn't much more to it than unzipping the distribution, moving it the right place, and copying over your web apps. Or have you made extensive customizations to your current installation?
