Apache cannot recognize folder

Hi Guys,

Tomcat is unable to recognize a folder on the server. We have a folder where we upload files. We can find the folder structure on the server but a request to a file in that server or when I click on the folder name in Tomcat manager
it returns 404. An entry is present in the server.xml too.

The server.xml has an entry <context path="/io"....>
In the tomcat manager , it shows it as started.

Guys,

I created another context path with a test folder and it is not recognized too. I am using tomcat 6. Any suggestions?

Hi,

Leave those tasks to apache httpd, in other words it will be better to serve that directory through apache HTTPD or IIS, and keep tomcat for your web app.
