use of Directory name called "-" in tomcat

Hi All,

i saw the SESSIONS.ser and tldCache.ser in
---------------------------------------
Tomcat\work\Catalina\localhost\_
----------------------------------------

what is the usage of those two .ser files

please anybody explain me

Hi,

There might be other uses as well which i am not aware of as of now, but i do know that SESSIONS.ser serailizes session info, and tldChache is more of static tags which are kept there.

It will be better to cross check on Apache Docs though
