I want to download tomcat. On the website under the link http://apache.sunsite.ualberta.ca/tomcat5/v5.5.27/README.html
I read non-embedded user. Whats meant by non-embedded user and embedded user ?

There are 4-5 downloads available, what shall I download to install tomcat ?

thanks

"Embedded" means if you run Tomcat as part of some other application, maybe a desktop application. "Non-embedded" means the "normal" standalone mode of running the server.

You almost certainly want the "Core" download.
