Connection refused in high-loaded Tomcat server

Hi, all,

I encountered some "java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect" in the following situations:
1. Create about 350 requests to Tomcat server at the same time by sockets
2. Create about 200 requests to standalone Java ServerSocket at the same time

It seems there is limitation of the max connections to server or ServerSocket instance. Could you please advise me how many the max connections are? And how to configure them in ServerSocket or Tomcat server?

Thank you in advance.

I'm not sure what you mean by SErverSocket, but Tomcat connections and their pools are configured in server.xml

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
