Hi,
Can anybody tell how to run simple JSP files .
If i want to create my own directory where i have to create and what are the
steps to run jsp files.

Try a beginning servlets/JSP book.
Manning and O'Reilly both have good books, but you'll find no shortage at your local bookstore...

I hope that didn't sound too flip. What I meant to say is that JBoss is no different than any other appserver. Bundle your web app up as a war (any JSP book will show you how) and deploy it. For JBoss, your deploy directory is normally server/default/deploy.
