Dear All,
I am using JBoss 3.0.4 and MySQL-3.23.55-1 and mysql-connector-java-2.0.14-bin.jar.
I have two application servers (JBOSS) and two mysql. Mysql is using replication method.
Only one of Mysql is using can be Read-Write and the other is read only. If there is any failure in the master db, the slave will take over and become to master.
The dbURL in jboss's datasource is using a domain name (i.e. mysqltest) and it maps to one of the mysql's ip address. So if there is any failure, the mysqltest will point to another mysql. However, how can i make the failover procedure with db connection transparents to client?
I read jConnection-3.0.8 support failover but the connection for the failover server is read only.
Any other suggestion?
Very appreciate for your kindly help!
