JBoss Performance Benchmarking

I was wondering if there are any reliable resources on benchmark results on JBoss on the ecperf specification. We are currently running some tests ourselves, but we have had to change the test methodology to go via the Servlets way instead of using the ECPerf controller. We are using the customer domain of ecperf.
Although this has got nothing to do with JBoss itself, my question is directed on the use of JVM options on JBoss. We were given to believe that -XX:+UseParNewGC -XX:+UseConMarkSweepGC would work best in a scenario where we have multiple processors with moderate available memory. (We are testing on a Intel Dual CPU-Xeon 2.5ghz /2GB box running WIN 2000). However we get consistent timeouts with this configuration on a moderate load (100 users). Anyone could help explaining this?
