Servlets not supported by JBoss???

Dear Friends,
Am trying to run servlets using JBoss using the statement
http://localhost:8080/examples/servlet/HelloWorldExample ,which is a built in servlet but it's giving an error as:
[Engine] StandardHost [localhost]: MAPPING configuration error for request URI
How do I overcome this?? Where and how do I place my own developed servlets on JBoss?

Which version of jboss are you running?
I don't see "examples" as an app that comes with my jboss-3.2.3/tomcat-4.1.24.
If you give me your email address I can send you a working web-app with one servlet.

For your information am using JBoss-3.0.0_tomcat-4.0.3. The examples folder is in webapps directory.
