Jboss, ldap, jaas, and active directory can authenticate but not authorize

Hi everyone. I'm trying to use jboss, ldap, and jaas to authenticate against a microsoft active directory and am having a problem. I can authenticate, but I am not getting any Roles for authorization. I have no roles returned after I log in, when there are roles in active directory. Has anyone had this problem and do you know what a possible solution might be? Thanks
