JBoss vs WebSphere

Hi there,

My current job at work involves doing some investigation on JBoss, as we currently use WebSphere AS but we try to keep current on alternative solutions. I've done quite a bit of reading, as well as set-up a JBoss server and deployed some sample applications. However, I'm still a beginner to J2EE so differences are not as clear to me, than to a developer who has used both of these technologies.

Can anyone here let me know what some of the most significant benefits and disadvantages are of using JBoss compared to WebSphere?

Any responses appreciated!

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
