hi, is there any relation between tomcat server and jboss server?

can we use jboss for bussiness organizations freely?

or can we use tomcat freely ?

Not 100% sure on JBoss, but Tomcat can be used according to the Apache Software License agreement. Take a look at it on the Apache site. However, if you want a full J2EE server, Tomcat will not be sufficient. Use JBoss

JBoss is open source (Gnu Lesser General Public License), so yes.

JBoss can use Tomcat as its web container. You can download a pre-configured JBoss/Tomcat application server.
 
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
