Hi folks,

I would like to know how to configure the JBoss/ Eclipse to run my example for the EBJ certification. Thanks, Nato.

"Nato"

Welcome to JavaRanch! Please can yan you update your display name to one which matches our Naming Policy. You can do this here.

You might also try to explain you issue in more detail, since it is a little unclear what your problem is from the post you have made.

Thanks!

Hello Paul, thanks for the greetings.

I hope this name works, this is a off-topic detailt but actually my uncle call me Nato. Then, if you don't mind, I'll keep this name.

The issue is: if I got the best tutorial with the last JBoss version to use as a J2EE server in the Eclipse, maybe I might not following the spec that is required for the SCBCD, that is J2EE 1.3 and EJB 2.0. So, I would like a tutorial that can help me with this. Also, I have tried use RI from Sun, but it's so bad and I didn't get do anything with that tool.

Please, I really need this help. Thank very much in advance.

Nato.

Thanks for changing your display name Nato, the one you have chosen is fine.

You can find a bunch of links here about the SCBCD. Some of these might be useful. In particular you might consider getting a book about EJB rather than relying on just tutorials (since tutorials can be Server-specific and a little short on detail).

Hey Paul, thanks for your reply and the link. It's going to be very helpful. Just to let you know that I alredy bought, 6 months ago, Head First EJB book, but only now I get time to start read it. I'm in the Chapter 3 right now and moving forward. Thanks again, Nato.
