From hsqldb to oracle for JMS message persistence

Hello,

I am migrating from hsqldb to oracle for JMS message persistence. However,
the table, JMS_MESSAGES,
CREATE TABLE JMS_MESSAGES ( MESSAGEID INTEGER NOT NULL, DESTINATION VARCHAR(255) NOT NULL, TXID INTEGER, TXOP CHAR(1), MESSAGEBLOB OBJECT, PRIMARY KEY (MESSAGEID, DESTINATION) )

the OBJECT type of MESSAGEBLOB column is not available in oracle.

Can anyone tell me which data type of MESSAGEBLOB should be used instead of OBJECT type in oracle database?

Thanks
Benson

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
