can anyone please explain the difference between application server and web server.I only know that JBoss is application server but i am not aware what do you mean by application server and web server.
Examples on both of them will help me understand them in better way.
also some more q's
what is EJB?
what is weblogic?

sorry for all such questions, as i am new to web application i came across all of the above.

what is weblogic?

Weblogic is an application server.
