i running the JBOSS using JBOSS4.0.4.CR2 and get error to run it. when i klik run.bat ... the problem show "Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: org/jboss/Mai

Moving to JBoss forum.

Is this a fresh install, complete unzip of JBoss from their website. It is like the main class in the jar is a different version. Wait a second, is that what is says when there is another instance running on the same machine? Maybe you clicked the run.bat twice.

I am not sure which jdk you are using, but JBoss 4.0.x requires Java 1.4 or 5.0. Java 1.3 is no longer supported. Have a look at:
