Service in Jboss

Hello,

I was wondering wheather it is possible to run a sort of like windows service in the JBoss container.

This means having an application that is running independently from any other application that is started as soon as Jboss is started and is doing some continues process.

Is the above possible to do with Jboss?

You can install you application as SAR file.
