Does anyone know where this jboss-hibernate.deployer is located in JBoss4.0.4GA? It is mentioned in Hiberate3 integration and configuration but I don't seem to find it in the mentioned location - JBOSS-HOME\server\default\deploy.
Also, I have a question about the Hibernate MBean: Here's the snippet:
The above snippet is from the JBoss documentation, Chapter 13. Can someone explain me what name="jboss.adminguide:name=ExampleSessionFactory? is "jboss.adminguide:name" the requirem format? is "jboss" required? what I can replace the "adminguide" and "name" with? thanks.
Had to do a double take to make sure I was not answering one of my own posts, lol
I am dealing with this issue as well. Here is the mbean I am using in jboss-service.xml that is deployed in my .ear
Hibernate is packaged with JBOSS 4.0.4GA so I don't think the deployer is necessary anymore. Since new versions of JBOSS and Hibernate seem to come out pretty frequently, the documentation and especially forum postings get out of date and incorrect very quickly. Lots of contradictory stuff out there.
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
