I am working on the automation of jboss app server installation and configuration using ANT. In this process i need to create multiple instance of jboss server. To create multiple servers i need to edit sevaral configuration files.

I want to edit the configuration using JBoss Mbeans rather than directly editing using ant pattern matching. If anybody is worked on the similar task, please help me how can i do that?

Appreciate for any help or inputs.

"b_krishna_murthy",

There aren't many rules that you need to worry about here on the Ranch, but one that we take very seriously regards the use of proper names. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and adjust your display name to match it.

In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious.

Thanks!

Are all these instances need to have the same configuration? or are they different.

If they are the same, why not just make one version, and use copy and paste, which ANT can also do for you.

Also, just as a note, if you have a JBoss subscription you can use the Operations Network to handle this for you.
