hi buddies,

[*]how to increase the heap size in jboss 4.2.1?
Because i am getting out of memory exception.
can anyone help me out how to get rid of it?

The run.bat (run.sh for linux) has a section for adding the JVM parameters including the heap size. Look for JAVA_OPTS in that file and add your JVM setting there. This is what i have on my local setup:

well, thanks for your reply

what will happen if my RAM is only 1GB and if i set 2GB as the maximum heap size in JVM?

The JVM will throw up an error and the java process will be killed.
