This week's book giveaway is in the Mac OS forum. We're giving away four copies of a choice of "Take Control of Upgrading to Yosemite" or "Take Control of Automating Your Mac" and have Joe Kissell on-line! See this thread for details.
For deploying an application in JBoss, all you have to do is place the .war (or .jar or .ear) file in the deploy folder under %JBOSS_HOME%/server/< serverName>/ (for ex: %JBOSS_HOME%/server/default/deploy). Then you can start JBoss using the run.bat file (run.sh for linux) present in the bin folder. Before starting the server, make sure that you have set JAVA_HOME appropriately, to point to a JDK installation.
