Dear Friends,

I have developed a simple web application using JBoss. However, I don't know how to stop the JBoss home page from displaying when a user types:
http://serverIP/
in the address bar.
I have put in an login.jsp in my web-app directories and specified this in web.xml for my app. So for ex if a user types:
http://serverIP/myApp/
then he is automatically directed to the login.jsp.
But I don't know how to stop user from going to JBoss home page when he types: http://serverIP/
Please help.
Thanks & Regards,
Nitin

JBoss home page is defined in path:
server\default\deploy\jboss-web.deployer\ROOT.war

Have you edited that too?

Dear Vesa,

I've not edited that. What can be done?

If you want that your user is redirected to some other place you can
create an index.jsp with content like this:
<%@page contentType="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" language="java" %>

<%
response.sendRedirect(request.getContextPath() + "/myApp/");
%>

and under \ROOT.war\WEB-INF edit end of web.xml like this:

<welcome-file-list>
<welcome-file>index.jsp</welcome-file>
</welcome-file-list>
</web-app>

then you can remove the default pages from ROOT.war.
