Maximum Number of Connections in JBOSS

Hi all

I am using JBOSS 4.2 and SQLServer 2005 for my application.
I am getting No Managed connections exception on load testing the application.

I changed the value of <max-pool-size> tag in mssql-ds.xml to 100 the load testing passes without any exceptions.

Is it advisable to keep max connections to 100?

I know JBOSS default maximum size is just 20.

Thanks

It depends on your application and the database server. If your application requires a maximum of 100 connections to be open at a given time and if your database server allows that, then you can set that value.
