Configure Garbage Collector

Hi All,

Is there a way i configure garbage collector in JBOSS.

Garbage collection is part of the JVM. You can pass the garbage collection related parameters as JVM options through the run.bat file. Look for the %JAVA_OPTS% section.

Thanks jai , just a last question if we reduce the value of the following
-Dsun.rmi.dgc.client.gcInterval . is it like a sure value or just a request ; and will the garbage collector run..

This is what i found in the Sun documentation:

the value of this property represents the maximum interval (in milliseconds) that the RMI runtime will allow between garbage collections of the local heap.
