RichFaces & OC4J 10.1.2

The problem is as follows: At the moment we use an application for a combination of Facelets and JSF 1.1, and on top of these frameworks, we wish to use Richfaces.

Meanwhile there is suggested that Richfaces is not compatible with OC4J 10.1.2. Yet we try to run the application as mentioned earlier.

In rendering the pages all elements tagged with <rich:> prefix do not render. It is probable that the filter can't do to interpret tags. (?)
No errors therefore, only a page without richfaces components.

Unfortunately upgrading to OC4J 10.1.3 is not an option.

Suggestions anyone?
